give participants the flexibility to respond at their convenience time. Authorization and consent
was requested from Africa Nazarene University, Uganda National Council for Science and
Technology, Watoto Ministries Uganda and all other participants of the study. For data analysis,
the researcher used SPSS version 29. The study concluded that planning plays a significant role in
enhancing the performance of community development projects. The study also found that
capacity building significantly influences the performance of community development projects in
Watoto Ministries Uganda, with most respondents reporting a satisfactory impact. The study also
established that stakeholder participation significantly influences the performance of community
development projects, with most respondents indicating a satisfactory impact. Lastly, the study
recommends that organisations should strengthen practical planning mechanisms through regular
reviews and updating planning frameworks. They should also always refine capacity building
strategies by refining them to the actual skills gaps, and routinely assess and document what works
and what doesn’t work during project implementation. | en_US |
