<title>Book Review: Assessing Christocentric and Trinitarian Theism: An Open Dialogue with T. A. Noble, Dennis Kinlaw, Allan Coppedge, and William Ury</title>
<link>http://repository.anu.ac.ke/handle/123456789/1250</link>
<description>Book Review: Assessing Christocentric and Trinitarian Theism: An Open Dialogue with T. A. Noble, Dennis Kinlaw, Allan Coppedge, and William Ury
Frazier, Russell J.
This review essay analyses three works by Wesleyan theologians:&#13;
T. A. Noble’s Christian Theology, Volume 1, and two contributions from the&#13;
Francis Asbury Society: Christology as Theology by William M. Ury and&#13;
Trinitarian Theology by Allan Coppedge, which articulate Christocentric&#13;
Theism and Trinitarian Theism. While appreciating some aspects of these&#13;
approaches, the essay raises critical concerns: the tendency to minimize&#13;
the role of progressive revelation, the need for greater attention to divine&#13;
accommodation and pedagogy, the danger of collapsing theology into a&#13;
narrow Christonomism, and the risk of cultural insularity in global contexts.&#13;
The article contributes to ongoing dialogue within Wesleyan theology,&#13;
cautioning against methodological imbalances.
J. Russell Frazier is an associate professor and Coordinator of the Ph.D.&#13;
and D.Min. Programs at Africa Nazarene University. He received, in 2011,&#13;
a Ph.D. from The University of Manchester, where his research focused&#13;
on the theology of John William Fletcher (1729-1785). He serves as the&#13;
production editor for Transform: A Journal of Biblical, Theological, and&#13;
Practical Studies in the Wesleyan Tradition, has published several articles,&#13;
and a book entitled True Christianity: The Doctrine of Dispensations in the&#13;
Thought of John William Fletcher (1729-1785).

<title>ET 101 Santidade 1- A Vida de Santidade (Santidade 1)</title>
<link>http://repository.anu.ac.ke/handle/123456789/1243</link>
<description>ET 101 Santidade 1- A Vida de Santidade (Santidade 1)
Russell, Frazier; Russell, Lovett; Matt, Price
Apresentação do curso.&#13;
Narração.&#13;
A importância da doutrina e da vida de santidade cristã é tal, que um único curso sobre&#13;
o assunto dificilmente é suficiente para ministrar na Igreja do Nazareno. Enquanto outros cursos&#13;
enfatizam a importância dos fundamentos históricos e bíblicos da doutrina e enfatizam a sua&#13;
formulação iniciada por John Wesley, este curso enfatiza os fundamentos teológicos e bíblicos&#13;
para se envolver na experiência da santidade e viver a vida de santidade.&#13;
Certos aspetos da vida diária serão tratados, tais como a tentação, erros espirituais,&#13;
momentos de deserto espiritual e a velocidade de crescimento espiritual que é retardada. Outros&#13;
aspetos têm repercussões na vida em comunidade com aqueles que são incrédulos noutros&#13;
ramos do cristianismo que acreditam e pregam que certos fenômenos religiosos são obrigatórios&#13;
para receber esta graça.&#13;
Os pastores da Igreja do Nazareno têm a responsabilidade de ensinar os fundamentos&#13;
bíblicos da santificação, e também os resultados diários que dela devem emanar.
