    Abstract
    Services delivery by authorities to Kenyans is embedded in the spirit of partnership and involvement of stockholders which is reflected in Kenya’s vision 2030. Stockholder with citizen on matter of planning and development. Traffic jam in Nairobi has become a common phenomenon leading to massive delays, increased fuel consumption and huge monetary losses. This lead to government installing cameras but traffic police continue to govern the traffic flow and many question why they are not working after the government have spent millions. Therefore, the project sought to be determine the effects of stockholder involvement on the success of Nairobi traffic cameras project. The proposed research sites was Kenyatta Avenue in Nairobi. The project survey as the research design and questionnaires. The target population that the research used was 1,121 people with simple size of 111 people. The sampling procedure that was used was simple random sampling technique because of the availability and the quickness with which data is gathered. Data was gathered using questioners and analyzed using Statistical package for social science (SPSS 19). Statistical technique were used for computations and interpretations. The interpreted data was presented using a pie charts, and tables. Data was analysis using descriptive methods to establish patterns, tread and relationships that make it easier to understand and interpret the implications of the study. A person correlation analysis and regression analysis were carried to show the relationship between the independent and dependent variable. The major findings of the study were that, there was a positive relationship between project success and project sponsorship, participation and stockholder communication. From the coefficients obtained, project sponsorship mainly influences the success of the Nairobi Traffic Cameras Project. From the study, it’s clear the stockholders play a major role in the project sponsorship, participation and communication. It was so establish that project involvement contributes effectively to the success of projects. However it will be important for additional studies to be conducted in the other parts of the country so as to examine exactly how project success is influenced by stockholder involvement.
